CELLULAR THERAPY

CAR-T Therapy

A highly specialized cellular therapy approach for selected cancers, with treatment suitability determined through diagnosis-specific clinical review.

Where CAR-T may be relevant

Selected hematologic malignancies

Selected solid-tumor indications where credible clinical programs exist

What clinical review typically requires

Diagnosis

Pathology

Molecular markers where relevant

Prior systemic therapy

How a CAR-T treatment pathway may proceed

Specialist cellular-therapy evaluation → Leukapheresis and cell collection → Product manufacturing or preparation → Bridging treatment where clinically required → Lymphodepleting chemotherapy → CAR-T infusion → Structured early post-infusion monitoring

Exact sequencing, eligibility requirements and monitoring depend on the CAR-T product, disease and treating center.

CAR-T can cause serious toxicities, including cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurologic toxicity such as ICANS, and must be delivered and monitored by an experienced cellular-therapy team.

Important clinical note

Eligibility, treatment selection and final clinical decisions remain with the treating cellular-therapy center and physicians.
