A publicly reported launch price describes the cell product itself, not a complete treatment episode. The total a family actually plans for depends on scope, current health, and what is defined as base care versus exception.
What a Complete Episode Can Include
A full satri-cel treatment episode can include clinical case review, pathology or biomarker testing if needed, leukapheresis, cell manufacturing and release, lymphodepletion, infusion, a standard inpatient and monitoring window, expected toxicity management, labs and imaging, discharge documentation, and ground logistics.
Base Episode vs. Exception
Vialen separates a defined base episode from an exception account. Exceptions include bridging therapy, ICU-level care, severe cytokine release syndrome or neurotoxicity beyond the standard bundle, transfusions, infection treatment, extended inpatient stay, and major organ support. Treating these as a scope freeze plus an exception ledger avoids presenting an unlimited all-inclusive quote that no clinical team can actually guarantee.
Why Vialen Does Not Publish a Fixed Price Here
Vialen does not publish a fixed all-in treatment price on this page, because treatment scope changes with each patient’s current condition and because supplier and site terms are commercially sensitive and still being finalized. Publishing site-level economics here would also make the pathway easier to bypass.
Repeat Infusion
Public information on the cost of a second or third satri-cel infusion is not yet clear enough for Vialen to publish a reliable assumption. This is addressed case by case during clinical review, not on this page.
